October 13-17, 2010Now in our 11th year we are looking forward to beginning our second decade producing Canada's leading environmental film and video festival October 13-17, 2010. We are committed to continuing to present outstanding, compelling and entertaining environmental films and videos created by Canadian and international filmmakers from around the world throughout the year and at our annual festival.
Our 2010 Spotlight is focused on the International Year of Biodiversity. We will showcase gripping visual stories that celebrate, raise awareness and shed light on the critical issues surrounding the state of biodiversity on our planet, species at risk and conservation measures.
As Canada's preeminent cultural forum for environmental artistic works in the moving image, we showcase a range of stylistic forms which broaden perspectives, acting as a catalyst for public awareness, discussion and action on the ecological and social health of the planet.
We honour those who have helped us achieve our milestone in 2009 through their unique contributions over the past decade and we welcome all of you as we move forward toward achieving our goals in the year ahead.
Submissions for the 2010 annual festival are open! We look forward to presenting the next array of cutting edge environmental works created by filmmakers from across Canada and around the world.
Our submission form for 2010 is available now!
