 Situated between Toronto and Ottawa is the rural town of Marmora, the setting for this original, spontaneous, and fascinating doc about the environment, culture, and life on earth. In this romp through punk music festivals; arsenic poisoning and radioactive pollution right in their own back yard, we visit strange and special places which have the power to induce spiritual experiences. Tim (Hoagy) Wilson has won a CBC Literary Award and a Gold National Magazine Award. He is currently making a series of short documentary films about central and eastern Ontario. The next, titled Out in Kawarthas, is slated to be released in 2006.
