The film follows 33-year-old Janice Fine through her diagnosis, treatment, recovery and search for answers, while dealing with memories of her mother's death from cancer 17 years earlier. – M.S.L.
Cynthia McKeown became increasingly interested in film as a means of exploring and communicating important social issues while working as a political organizer. Her award-winning documentaries and short films have been screened at festivals throughout the United States and Canada. Cynthia has also been a public television producer since 1999.
