A beautiful experimental work that draws us into the rhythms of nature, evoking the land as a living entity.

Darlene Naponse is a filmmaker and poet from Whitefish Lake First Nation in Ontario. Her film company, Pine Needle Blankets Productions has won the 2004 First Nations Business Award, given by Northern Ontario Business. Naponse sees filmmaking as a way to generate jobs in her community and she is committed in her own work to creating images, sounds and textures of First Nations People as they are.
