Eco-Fair...
A Green Expo

Planet in Focus: International Environmental Film & Video Festival will hold its Eco-Fair at Innis College, University of Toronto, and October 1 - 2, 2005. We invite you to join us and be a part of this exciting event.

Planet in Focus is more than an annual film festival. It's a year-round series of events involving youth filmmaking, traveling exhibitions of film and video, and a forum for lively debates about our environment. The Eco-Fair provides a fantastic way of expanding the festival by bringing together some of the most active environmental groups and designers to present innovative ideas, products and services.

You can be part of a diverse group of environmentally-conscious businesses, government agencies, and community organizations who will have the opportunity to reach our audience directly. Planet in Focus invites you to set up interactive displays and informative exhibits in the courtyard of the festival's main venue at Innis College. Here, you can demonstrate your environmentally-friendly products and inform an eager public about your services and activities.

This exchange of ideas and information will raise your profile and provide you with access to other groups and individuals who share common environmental goals. Festival attendees will leave with practical and tangible directions for improving their lives and the world around them.

Because the Eco-Fair places great emphasis on active engagement in environmental issues, and provides contact to diverse groups of people we want you to truly benefit from our access to the public. Groups, organizations and businesses will be selected by the type of interactive presentation you establish as a key component of your participation. We ask you to consider how your products, displays or demonstrations will contribute to our interactive and appealing festive atmosphere. Simply displaying literature is not enough. We want you to show and tell!

This year we're really looking for outstanding participants in the Eco-Fair. Please contact us with your ideas. Our Eco-Fair, promises to be a bustling hub of activity surrounded by the aura of the film festival, the organic pancake breakfast, panels, the Multi-Faith celebration. Your presence is sure to add to the increasing innovativeness of ideas at the festival.
