Every September, we start the countdown to our International Environmental Film Festival.  Our venues are booked, our poster designed, our tickets readied.  After watching hundreds of films, we have locked the festival schedule. The results will be unveiled right here on the Planet in Focus website on September 23rd, the day individual tickets go on sale.

But for true environmental die-hards and filmophiles, the Festival All-Access Pass is where it’s at. In addition to having access to 90 films over 5 days, you save $20 if you order before September 22.

To get you ready for our best festival ever, we are counting down our favourite environmental films of all time.

Kicking off our countdown is former Artistic Director and CEO Candida Paltiel. Feel free to weigh in, comment, agree wholeheartedly or disagree vehemently. Tell us what films you consider your favourite environmental film, and why. We can’t wait to hear from you!
