Background on the Project:
The Green Screen Toronto Initiative aims to create a set of sustainable best practice protocols leading to a certification program for the Toronto film and television industry, using a third party verification mechanism, under which green-abiding productions would be accredited. The project will also create a Green Production Guide as well as a Green Resource Guide for Ontario-based productions. Consultants have recently been hired to create these Guides and the certification program.

Stakeholders from all sectors of the film community (comprising the cluster) are partners in this project and each has a vested interest in the success of this initiative and its outcome. They include: trade associations, unions and guilds, production and post-production facilities, suppliers, distributors, festivals, service providers, industry associations and government. Planet in Focus is the lead partner on this initiative.

Job Description:
Planets in Focus is seeking a Resource Coordinator to coordinate, assist in administrating, and troubleshoot for this exciting project. The Coordinator will work closely with Planet in Focus staff in addition to consultants, members and committees of Green Screen Toronto. The Coordinator will report to the Planet in Focus Artistic Director/CEO.

Duties Include:
- Liaise with project partners, consultants, and committee members
- Assist consultants as needed
- Maintain and update the Green Screen Toronto website
- Attend meetings as required and take minutes
- Answer phone calls and email inquiries regarding the project
- Assist in developing Green Screen Toronto programs, workshops, membership, and meetings

Skill Requirements:
- Current knowledge/experience in film and television industry (crews, service sector, production, etc.)
- Knowledge of environmental issues
- Strong computer skills
- Web content management knowledge and experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong writing skills
- Research and marketing skills
- Grant-writing experience and bilingualism considered assets

This is a part-time, contract position (up to 20 hours / week, with flexible hours). The position may grow into a full-time position in the future.
