Unique amateur footage made by Russian military in the destroyed city of Grozny in 1995 is used in this film. The major character of the film Svetlana Naimushinna, who had to flee Chechnya with her mother when the bombing started, comments about the footage. Included in this film are segments from the dramatic video coverage of the Sept 11 terrorist acts in New York City. According to Svetlana, this tragedy and the war in Chechnya - just like any modern war - are links in the same chain that is pulling humankind to self-destruction.
