A group of French experts is trying to rehabilitate lie in the small agricultural village of Olmany, 150 miles from Chernobyl (a classified low rate radioactivity zone). The film asks is it possible to improve the life of farmers in such a contaminated area? The film also draws a picture of the Belarus society: corruption, helplessness, rage and anger growing on the crucial issue of international aid. By the end of the film it becomes clear that low rate radioactivity should not remain the sole concern for the Ukrainians.
