Eco-House: the Challenge

A house in our trash cans? How it all begun is owed to a visit Marc St-Onge, the instigator, director and producer of the series, paid to a salvage site near Montreal. What he discovered there deeply moved him. It seemed like enough decent furniture, various construction materials and functional objects to build at least one house a week. It's from this apocalyptic vision of waste, negligence and over-consumption that Eco House: the Challenge was born. This documentary series of 13 half-hour episodes examines the impact of our individual gestures on the planet's environmental equilibrium.
