Faces of Myth is a hybrid of an art-documentary. Part personal memoir, part chronicle of the island of Crete (Greece), and the greatest part, a spiritual mimetolith. It is a look at history, mythology, and iconography from the point of view of anthropomorphic designs on the rocks, stones, cliffs and driftwood on the island, with interviews of people who have similar interests as the film-maker.

It is also a counterpointed exploration of the effects of music both on topography and the human soul. The overall effect is impressionistic with mesmerizing imagery that lingers from scene to scene, creating a visual journey into the unknown, a visceral reminder that there is more to look at than what the naked eye initially perceives.
