Around the beginning of winter, Hae-jin, an animal-lover, volunteers to work with the predatory animal department at the zoo. Hae-jin treats each animal like her own brother and sister referring to each by name. During her work at the zoo, Hae-jin witnesses many of her animal friends become ill and die within the cages of the zoo. 2-month-old tiger cub, Krane is also weak and unhealthy due to being a product of inbreeding. But there is nothing Hae-jin can do for these creatures. On a snowy day, Hae-Jin leaves the zoo for the last time and Krane cries unceasingly after her.
