Episode Three: Cedar Bark Weaver; Victoria Moody. Our second story about weavers takes us on another journey out on the land, this time to harvest cedar bark. A weaver from Skidegate BC, Vicki Moody uses cedar bark in the creation of a new style of art. Her bold designs and political views come together in her art. She came to cedar as a teenager and has woven stories in her quest to weave for a living. Her Transition robe features the marriage of wool and cedar in new and innovative ways. She has also used her art to help educate people about the importance of cedar to her culture.
