I am attached to one place: Harimano. Every year, my father used to take me to my grandparents' house. I asked him once why he was the only one in his family to live in Tokyo. I was surprised to learn that it was for political discrimination. I couldn't imagine such a thing could exist in Japan. Isn't he a sort of political refugee in his own country? Suddenly, I was intrigued by his past. I wanted to go back to Harimano with him to understand his political involvement.
