The Manu National Park in Peru lies in the western part of the Amazon rainforest. This area is one of the 25 or so regions which are called biological hotspots as they are particularly rich in species. And it is in Manu, where biologists recorded the highest species diversity on earth so far. The film portrays the wealth of life and some of the scientists who work hard to keep it that way.
