Every spring, the blind birders of the Rio Grande Vally of Southern Texas gather to compete in the outta sight tournament. The teams, while blind, learn to recognize a wealth of bird songs and in the process gain an appreciation fo their natural surroundings and better yet, gain a new lease on life.
