After the Soviet Union collapsed, Belarus became an independent country. In 1995, Lukashenka comes to power. Democracy and freedom come to an end. The Presidential elections in 2006 become the culminating point of the film. Thousands of people enter the streets and they are brutally pacified by militia. However, they deeply believe that on day Belarus will be a free country.
