In 2004, eight Canadian artists travelled down rivers in Yukon's Peel River watershed, the ancient home of the Gwich'in peoples. A journey of adventure, hardship and discovery inspired works of art which reflect the new meanings they found in this still wild place, and which ask questions about such meanings for our global industrial culture.
