Planet in Focus promotes and showcases outstanding and compelling films and videos in all forms (documentary, drama, animation, experimental, new media), focusing on environmental themes and subjects by Canadian and international filmmakers. 

Throughout the year and at our annual festival, we use environmental artistic expression as a catalyst for public awareness, discussion and appropriate action on the ecological and social health of the planet.


Our 9th annual festival takes place in Toronto, October 22 - 26, 2008.

The 3rd annual Mobifest Toronto is now open for entries
This year, they have teamed up with Planet in Focus to present the Green Scene category which will showcase environmentally friendly made for mobile films; their other categories include Shot on Mobile, Animation and Best of Festival. All submissions must be 90 seconds or less, excluding credits. The entry deadline is October 1st. Visit www.mobifest.net for more information.
