Mixed Greens Monthly Screenings - Killers in Eden

Killers in Eden
Klaus Toft, Australia, documentary, 2004, 52 min (Digi Beta)
This film investigates the story of one of the most extraordinary bonds ever forged between humans and the natural world. Near the small coastal town of Eden, killer whales and human whalers formed an intimate partnership to hunt side by side. Can the legend be explained by animal instinct and natural intelligence alone, or did a true friendship develop between these two predators of the sea?
