Film Archive

The Planet in Focus archive holds information pertaining to the 3,500+ films received by the organization since 1999. You may narrow down your search using the fields below either individually or in combination. To search across multiple genres, hold down the 'ctrl' button while making your selections from the list.

Film Archive currently under construction.

Important Notes about the Planet in Focus Archive:

The Planet in Focus archive consists of all film and video submissions received by the festival irrespective of whether they were selected to screen at one of our events. Planet in Focus does not screen any film works without the filmmaker's full knowledge and permission. If your film is listed in this archive but you have no recollection of being officially selected, it means you (or someone else) submitted it to us and it has been added to this database for educational resource purposes.

None of the films in our database are available for purchase through our organization.

Not all films listed in our database are available for viewing. All available works contained in our collection are available for in-house, educational reference only. Planet in Focus does not maintain the rights of any works contained in this body and in accordance with copyright policies, rules and regulations, our collection is not available for private loan.

We are unable to release any of the films in our archive; however, if you live in the Toronto area, you are welcome to come to our office on a limited basis to view the material in-house. Please note that we offer this service to individuals for research purposes only.

If you are interested in using some of the films in our archive as part of our Touring Program, please go to our Touring Program Section.

Thank you the EJLB Foundation for their generous support of our online educational resource library.
