1% for the Planet is an environmental alliance whose members give back 1% of their sales to environmental organizations worldwide.

Youth & Educational Programs

At Planet in Focus, Environmental Awareness, Education, Community Engagement, Solutions are the cornerstones of our activities. Ensuring classroom accessibility to our films and the issues addressed in the films is our highest priority. The Youth & Educational Programs page of this website provides valuable resources that have been designed for the purposes of complimenting and enhancing environmental educational in the classroom.

GreenSceneZToronto - Youth Video Challenge 

Calling all youth! Are you passionate about the environment? Do you want to make a difference?
Here's your chance to make a video about what it means to you to LIVE GREEN - and inspire others to do the same!
Send us your idea for a 30-second video and you could win the chance to turn your idea into a video with the help of professional filmmakers at Planet in Focus.
If you're a student in grade 7 - 12 you're eligible to enter and win!
Winning teams will attend a workshop at Planet in Focus during March Break 2010 and get the help they need to turn their great green ideas into videos.
Winning videos will premiere at the 2010 Green Toronto Awards and be featured on the Live Green Toronto website at livegreentoronto.ca for all of Toronto to see!
No previous video/film experience or artistic talent required
